Owner Sunny Sidhu and Manager Brittany Warren open up about Kensington’s newest coffee shop, Espresso Cafe.
Now open for four months, Espresso Cafe itself has a very unique feel. No detail was spared from the deep purple couches to the beautiful chandeliers. The cafe was inspired by a love of coffee and French food which you can see in their extensive menu. They even offer a vegan sections on their menu.
“My favourite item on the menu would be the Vegan Scramble, I’m not vegan but I just love all the flavours. The dish itself has tofu scramble, seasonal vegetables, vegan sausage, potatoes and it’s served with toast on the side,” says Brittany Warren, General Manager of Espresso Cafe. “Our idea behind the menu was that a group of friends could come and have options, we wanted a place that everyone could have something.”
According to Sunny Sidhu, owner of Espresso Cafe, there was no other option when choosing where his new business would be located. As a long-time lover of Kensington, Sunny’s favourite parts of Kensington are the various family friendly activities to participate in, including days by the river, Riley Park and most of all, their neighbour the Regal Cat Cafe.
