STAMPEDE BREAKFAST // Our favourite pancake breakfast hosted by @norfolkhousing was a huge success. HISTORY // Did you know @theplazayyc used to be an auto mechanics shop? @theplazayyc first opened in 1935 and has been Calgary’s longest-running movie theatre ever since. It closed during the pandemic, but in 2021, Fatima Allie Dobrowolski brought it back to life. Now it’s once again the perfect hangout spot for movie lovers and the community. They still show everything from throwback classics to the latest releases and have the best decor to match. There’s even a cozy little bar inside, perfect for grabbing a drink before, during or after a movie.
Definitely worth a visit!
